How much does it cost to install a sump pump pit and pump on a house that does not and has never had one?

Basically, the house has no pit or sump pump system, and i wanted to install one in the basement. Also, what companies do this type of work? i live in Chicago. Thanks

DIY, dig a hole a little lower in the lowest part of the basment, the size of a 5 gal bucket, line with cement, let dry for 2 to 3 days, install pump, run hose to outside,
